Wing/Non-Wing Show Rained Out, Next Race Saturday at
Tri-State
TULSA,
Okla. (June 28, 2008) - Last Saturday's OCRS Series
event at Creek County Speedway was rained out. The next OCRS
event is Saturday, July 5, at Tri-State Speedway in Pocola,
Oklahoma.
Passmore Inherits Victory at Outlaw Motor Speedway
OKTAHA,
Okla. (June 27, 2008) - Jamie Passmore took
advantage of Mike Goodman's misfortune on Friday night and used it to win the
OCRS Sprint Series A Main at Outlaw Motor Speedway.
Goodman was sporting a straightaway lead over Passmore and appeared headed for a
second straight victory when the yellow waved on lap 19 for Ron Paris, Jr. who
got into the wall in turn three. While pacing the field under yellow Goodman
came to a stop on the front straightaway. The defending champion was pushed to
the pits with engine problems leaving Passmore to inherit the lead. Passmore had
no trouble leading the final seven laps to win his fourth feature of the season.

Wing/Non-Wing Sprint Double Header at Creek
County Speedway Has New Purse Structure
TULSA,
Okla. (June 19, 2008) - The
second OCRS wing/non-wing double header of the season will
take place at Creek County Speedway on Saturday, June 28.
Racing fans will see two complete sprint shows with added
money and double points on the line.
The OCRS sanctioned event will start with the sprinters
running a complete show of heats and features with their win
wings on. The sprint teams then will head to the pits to
remove their wings in preparation to run another complete
show, this time without wings.

Goodman End Drought at Ada
ADA, Okla. (May 31, 2008) -
A drought came to an end for Mike Goodman Saturday night
at Oklahoma Sports Park. Winless over the first six OCRS events this
season, the defending champion put it all together to win the 25-lap
main event and become the fifth different winner in 2008.

Smith Sweeps the Field at West Siloam
WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. (May 24, 2008) -
Danny Smith topped a 24-car
field to become the fourth different OCRS winner in six
events Saturday at West Siloam Springs Speedway.
After winning the second heat Smith earned enough passing
points to start on the pole of the main event, but due to a
pill draw held at intermission Smith drew second row inside.
However that was not enough to stop Smith from taking a
quick lead when the green flag dropped.

Passmore, Larkin Top OCRS Double Header at Creek
County

KELLYVILLE, Okla. (May 10, 2008) - Jamie
Passmore and Roy Larkin each picked up a feature victory in the first ever OCRS
winged/ non-winged double header Saturday night at Creek County Speedway.
However it was Larkin who went home with the $1,700 first place money as the
overall winner. Larkin finished fourth in the opening winged A feature then came
back to win the non-wing main event. Passmore, who won the winged feature only
finished tenth in the non-wing 'A' for a fifth place overall finish. Mike
Goodman earned the second place check of $1,000 with a third place winged finish
and a fourth in the non-wing.

Passmore Earns Second Victory at Creek County Speedway
KELLYVILLE, Okla. (April
19, 2008) - Jamie Passmore just might be taking a
liking to Creek County Speedway after picking up his second OCRS victory of the
season there on Saturday. After winning the OCRS season opener at Creek on April
5, Passmore once again dominated the tight quarter mile oval winning the 25-lap
main event over Matt Sherrell.

Walker Steps into Victory Lane at Outlaw
OKTAHA, Okla. (April 18, 2008)
- Kenneth Walker drove off the pole and led all 25-laps to win the OCRS
A-Main Friday at Outlaw Motor Speedway.
Walker earned the pole after picking up the most passing points and a
victory in the third heat race. The former OCRS champion then roared
the Performance Parts and Fuel number 2 into a quick lead over outside
second row starter Mike Goodman.
